About This Course
Spend a creative day learning traditional jewellery-making techniques in the professional Lucia Goldsmiths workshop in Summertown, Oxford.
Led by an experienced jeweller, this intimate one-day course introduces essential skills including sawing, filing, soldering, rolling and basic stone setting. You’ll use professional tools to create your own ring or pendant, which will be ready to take home at the end of the day.
The course is suitable for complete beginners as well as makers who would like to develop their existing skills. Silver, copper, standard materials and refreshments are included, with additional silver and other materials available at an extra cost.

During this practical jewellery-making course, you’ll learn:

Requirements
- No previous jewellery-making experience is required.
- Participants must be aged 18 or over.
- Young people aged 16 or 17 may attend when accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over.
- All professional tools, benches and standard materials are provided.
- Please wear practical clothing suitable for working in a jewellery studio.
- Additional silver and specialist materials are available at an extra cost.
